Еrmegen Nurkasimov

On 7 May 2012 it became known that in the village of Kosh-Agach in the Altai Republic a criminal case under part 1 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organisation of activities of a banned organisation) was opened on suspicion of organising a cell of the banned Tablighi Jamaat. Searches were conducted and literature was seized. Nurkasimov wrote a confession of guilt. On 5 April 2013, the prosecution against him was terminated.
