Biography
Journalist. From 1993 to 2001, he worked at NTV, hosting the Itogi programme, and from 2000 to 2001 he was general director. In 2009, he left for Ukraine and worked as an anchor on a number of TV channels. Shortly after the outbreak of war, he joined the Russian Antiwar Committee. In April 2022, he became one of the first people included in the Register of "Foreign Agents" (before that people were included in the Register of Mass Media — "Foreign Agents"). On 15 July 2022, he was put on the wanted list. In February 2024, he was included in

In February 2024, he was included in the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring with the marking that is put with the surnames of people prosecuted under terrorist articles. On 14 October 2025, the FSB reported about the initiation of a case against Kiselev and other members of the Russian Antiwar Committee for violent seizure of power and organisation of activities of a terrorist community. The reason was the adoption of the "Berlin Declaration" on the need for a change of power in Russia.
