He is a resident of Severodvinsk. In November 2025, the Investigative Committee reported that a case had been initiated against him for public justification of terrorism. The basis for initiating the case was his statements about the murder of the military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky. On 20 December 2025, reports about his disappearance were circulated, but the next day he was reported to have been found. The “29.RU | Arkhangelsk News” media outlet reported that he tried to flee to Finland but was detained. On 23 December 2025, he was arrested for 12 days under the administrative article on disobedience to the lawful demands of representatives of the authorities: according to the police report, he refused to show the contents of his phone to an FSB officer. On 4 January 2026, Vilachev was arrested under the same article for 14 days: according to the police report, this time he refused to show the contents of his pockets and backpack. On 22 January 2025, Vilachev was sentenced to 5.5 years in a strict regime colony. The strict regime is explained by the fact that Vilachev had a criminal record for sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age.
