Evgeniy Melikhov

A resident of Chelyabinsk. He was prosecuted for incitement to terrorism because of a comment under a news item about power outages in different regions of Ukraine. The defence argued that Melikhov was not against the SMO, and that the comment that prompted the case was written due to "psychological problems". On 27 June 2024, Melikhov was sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime colony.
