Filipp Ombysh

Resident of the Saratov region. In early September 2025 he was detained on charges of participation in an extremist organisation in connection with the activities of the Jehovah's Witnesses community. On 5 September, the court remanded him in custody. On 25 September Ombysh was placed under house arrest.

Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters.
