Biography
On 2 March 2016, nine residents of Makhachkala were brought to the police on suspicion of involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir. Of these, Murad Valiev, Magomed Magomedov, as well as Gadzhi Ramazanov and Sharip Habibov were arrested.
On 2 March 2017, the case of Gadzhi Ramazanov was referred to court. He is charged under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an organisation that is recognised as a terrorist organisation under Russian law).
