Galim Zamanov

Resident of Bashkortostan. On January 23, 2024 he was taken into custody on charges of participation in mass riots in connection with the citizen assembly on January 17 in Baymak (Bashkortostan) on the day of sentencing of activist Fail Alsynov. Before that, Zamanov was sentenced under an administrative article on disobeying the lawful order of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). Later he was also accused of using violence against representatives of the authorities. On May 5, 2025, Zamanov was sentenced to five years in a general regime penal colony.
