Biography
A resident of Bakhchysaray, according to media reports, holds an active pro-Ukrainian stance and criticises the occupying authorities.
Dovgopolaya's detention was reported by the Russian FSB in November 2019. It was alleged that she had been "recruited by the Ukrainian Special Services" and was "purposefully collecting secret information of a military nature" on behalf of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Later, Dovgopolaya said that she had signed all the documents after threats of arrest to her daughter. In the pre-trial detention centre, she was bullied by her cellmates until the visit of the Public Supervisory Commission and her transfer to another cell.

The trial was closed and the Russian side did not respond to requests from the Ukrainian ombudsman. Dovgopolaya did not have a lawyer under the agreement. On 24 March 2021, the Sevastopol City Court sentenced her to 12 years in prison.
