In July 2018, a case on the activities of an extremist organisation was opened against Olkhova. A signature on non-departure was taken.

On 13 December 2019, she was sentenced to two years' suspended sentence. On 25 March 2020, the court of appeal instance cancelled the verdict and returned the case for a new consideration. On 9 July, the cassation court, in turn, overturned the decision and returned the case to the appeal court. On 16 September, the appeal court confirmed the verdict.
