Biography
Former editor-in-chief of the Noviy Vizit website from Genichesk (Kherson region, Ukraine). Detained in March 2024 and taken into custody on charges of involvement in an illegal armed formation in connection with the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan. On 15 August 2024, Osmak was sentenced to three years and two months in a strict regime colony. On 6 November 2024, the court of appeal cancelled the sentence and returned the case to the court of first instance. Osmak was later re-sentenced, details are unknown, and it appears that it was not the same court that handed down
