On 3 June 2018, detained after a search, released. A case of organizing activities of an extremist organization was opened. He gave a recognizance not to leave.

On 9 June 2020, he was sentenced to six and a half years in a general regime colony. On 3 August, the court of appeal instance replaced the term with a suspended sentence.
