Gleb Karakulov

A former employee of the Federal Security Service. In October 2022, he was on a business trip to Astana, where a summit with Putin was taking place. According to Karakulov, he managed to deceive his fellow officers and flew from Kazakhstan to Turkey with his wife and child. After his departure, he gave an interview in which he denounced the war and spoke about the details of his work in the security service. A case of desertion was opened against him.
