Gleb Malkov

Resident of Sevastopol. On 25 August 2023, came to a spontaneous memorial, presumably to the dead leaders of the Wagner Group Yevgeniy Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin, kicked their portraits and also stepped on the Russian flag. Pro-Russian blogger Alexander Talipov, who regularly spreads information about pro-Ukrainian residents of Crimea and reports them to the authorities, published a video in which a Sevastopol resident explained that he kicked the Russian flag in protest against Russia's attack on "his country" - Ukraine. Talipov later published a video of Malkov apologising. The website of the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol has a case file against Malkov under the article on petty hooliganism (part 1 of article 20.1 of the Administrative Code), which was received and considered on 26 August. It is not known what punishment he was given, but it is likely that he could have been sent to administrative arrest. On 4 September the same court also received a case against the young man for discrediting the Russian army (part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). On 27 September it was reported that a case of vandalism motivated by hatred (part 2 of article 214 of the Criminal Code) was also filed against Malkov because of writings in support of Ukraine. Later Malkov was deprived of liberty, the details are not disclosed. He was released on 7 May 2025.
