Gulchehra Reshetnikova

Saratov resident. Reshetnikova's mother, Tatyana Boltaeva, a resident of Ukraine and a Russian citizen, according to the FSB, went to Syria in December 2015 and joined the "Uzbek Jamaat", which participated in the fighting against Bashar al-Assad's army as part of the terrorist organisation "Islamic State". Reshetnikova received her pension by proxy in June 2018 and transferred part of the money for her to the name of an intermediary, an Uzbek citizen. In August 2018, FSB officers turned up at Reshetnikova's home. According to her daughter, they came to Reshetnikova's house with interrogations two or three times in total, each time taking away her and her relatives' phones for six months. In October 2019, Reshetnikova's family sent a complaint to the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, over the fact that Reshetnikova was accused of facilitating terrorist activity. In April 2020, they received an official response to the complaint from local military investigators. In June 2020, Reshetnikova was detained and placed under house arrest.

In May 2021, the charge was reclassified to financing an armed formation.

On 11 October 2021, Reshetnikova was sentenced to ten years in a general regime colony.
