Biography
Student at the Institute of Intercultural Communications and International Relations of Belgorod State National Research University. On 10 November 2023, he was detained near a military recruiting office in Moscow. According to the investigation, he took photos of the military recruiting office and the schedule of its opening hours, and videotaped the building and his way to it. Orujev was taken to the police station, and on 13 November he was arrested for 10 days under the administrative article on disobedience to the lawful demands of police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). On 10 November 2023, he was detained near a military recruiting office in Moscow. According to the investigation, he took photos of the military recruiting office and the schedule of its opening hours, and videotaped the building and his way to it. Orujev was taken to the police station, and on 13 November he was arrested for 10 days under the administrative article on disobedience to the lawful demands of police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). It follows from the ruling on this case that at that time Orujev was going to be prosecuted for committing a terrorist act and high treason. At the end of his arrest he was detained again. After that, according to Orujev, in the car where he got in, they put a shoe bag over his head and handcuffs on his hands and started beating him. He was then brought to an unknown office where he was demanded to give the name of his curator. Orujev claims that the torture continued throughout the night, and in the morning he was threatened that they would use a syringe with a needle contaminated with AIDS. A criminal case was opened against him for training for terrorist activities. Orujev was taken into custody. The case file says that during the search in Orujev's apartment they found instructions with chemical formulas, which, according to the investigative expertise, can be used to make Molotov cocktails. In addition, the young man was allegedly found a diary with the "Bird cherry Plan" on setting fire to government buildings. The investigation also noted that Orujev was subscribed to Ukrainian Telegram channels, and connected the bot of the Ukrainian project of assistance to prisoners of war "I want to live". On 17 August 2024, it became known that Orujev was added another charge - preparation to commit a terrorist act. On 31 October 2024, the student was sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime colony.
