A sociologist. In December 2023, he was included in the register of foreign agents. On 30 June 2025, a case was opened against him for evasion of the duties of a foreign agent, and on 22 September 2025 another case was opened for dissemination of knowingly false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (for a publication about the crimes of the Russian military in Bucha) and participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation (for an interview in which he, according to the investigation, promoted the activities of the Russian Volunteer Corps, and a post in Telegram with information about fundraising for the Freedom of Russia Legion). The cases were merged.
