In April 2025, it became known that Igor had also been charged with failure to report a crime. According to investigators, he knew that his acquaintance was the head of one of the units of the Russian Volunteer Corps but did not report this to the FSB.
On 31 July 2025, the court sentenced him to a fine of 360,000 roubles. On 25 November, following an appeal, the court increased the fine to 500,000 roubles.
