Ildar Maturin

A resident of the Penza region. On 17 June 2020, he was searched as part of a case of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. On 10 October 2022, he was sentenced; on 21 December, the appeal court overturned his conviction. On 25 July 2024, the court of first instance sentenced Maturin to a three and a half year suspended sentence.
