Ilia Karpenko

He served in the Internal Troops of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs and later in the Russian Armed Forces. A criminal case was opened against him on charges of spreading knowingly false information about the Russian Armed Forces. On 5 September 2022, Karpenko was fined 800,000 rubles (approximately US$10,000).
