Ilia Sachkov

An entrepreneur, founder, and co-owner of the international information security company Group-IB. On September 29, 2021, he was taken into custody on charges of state treason. Forbes magazine suggests that he may have provided information about Russian hackers to foreign intelligence services. According to Bloomberg, Russian security agencies were dissatisfied with Sachkov’s intention to commercialize the company’s products abroad and move the business outside Russia. On July 26, 2023, the businessman was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony.
