Ilnar Asylguzhin

A resident of Bashkortostan. For some time he was put on the wanted list. He was detained on 8 February 2024 in Surgut in the case of mass riots in connection with the citizen assembly in Baymak on 17 January in support of activist Fail Alsynov, who was sentenced to four years in prison. Asylguzhin was taken to Ufa, where he was placed in custody. On 24 December 2024, he was sentenced to eight and a half years in a general regime penal colony. On 6 May 2025, the court of appeal reduced the sentence to five years.
