Biography
A lawyer. Since 2019, Novikov has been living and working in Ukraine. Novikov repeatedly spoke out against the war. He is wanted in a case of spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. On 30 May 2023, the Moscow Bar Association deprived Novikov of the status of a lawyer. In October 2023, it was reported that a case of high treason (article 275 of the Criminal Code) was started against Novikov. On 11 June 2024, Novikov was sentenced in absentia to eight and a half years in the case of "fakes" about the RF Armed Forces. In
