Ilyasbek Toktonazarov

A resident of the Leningrad region. On 12 August 2019 in St. Petersburg, he was prosecuted under the administrative article on disobedience to the lawful demands of a police officer (article 19.3 of the CAO). The punishment is unknown. On 21 August, a criminal case was opened against him for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. Its adherents are persecuted solely because of religious activities. On 3 September 2020, Toktonazarov was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.
