Iurii Zhgutov

A resident of the Leningrad region, a crane operator. On 8 August 2024, he was detained and then taken into custody. He was prosecuted for public justification of terrorism because of his approving comments in a Ukrainian Telegram channel about the shelling of Belgorod and the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. On 29 May 2025 Zhgutov was sentenced to five years in a general regime penal colony.
