Ivan Losev

A resident of Chita. He was repeatedly fined under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). Among the posts that prompted the first protocol under this article was Losev's story about a dream involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Later on, Losev repeatedly gave interviews about how he was being persecuted, and the posts with references to the interviews also became a reason for drawing up a protocol and a further fine. A criminal case was then opened against him for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. Losev was placed in custody, then replaced the measure of restraint with a ban on certain actions. The young man pleaded guilty and agreed to the consideration of the case in a special order. Pressure was also exerted on his mother Nelly Loseva. She was fined under the administrative article because of the liking of a picture, which, among other things, contained an insult to Vladimir Putin, as well as because of the liking of a post about the deaths of mobilised people. On 23 May 2023, Losev was sentenced to a fine of 150 thousand rubles, but taking into account the time spent under various preventive measures, the amount was reduced to 120 thousand.
