José Arón Medina Aranda

Served in the Colombian army, in November 2023 signed a contract with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, where he served until July 2024. On July 18, 2024, he was detained at the airport in Caracas (Venezuela), allegedly because of the Ukrainian Armed Forces chevrons. In August 2024, he found himself in Moscow (presumably as a result of extradition), where he was detained. On August 26 he was taken into custody on charges of mercenarism.
