Kabul Usenbaev

On 23 May 2018, he was detained and taken into custody the next day on charges of involvement in a terrorist organisation. Usenbayev believes that he is being persecuted for criticising the political and economic situation in Russia.

On 4 June 2019, he was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony.
