Kabylbek Apyev

A resident of Kansk (Krasnoyarsk region). In May 2012, a case was brought against him for organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. His adherents are persecuted solely because of their religious activities. On 31 July 2013, Apyev was sentenced to a fine of 100 thousand rubles.
