A resident of Kaspiysk (Dagestan). He was accused of involvement in the organisation "At-Takfir Val-Hijra", which is recognised as extremist. Some human rights activists believe that there is no evidence of the real existence of such an organisation on the territory of Russia.
Gasanov was first sentenced in August 2022, but the sentence was revoked in December 2022 by a court of appeal.
