Khafiz Aizatullin

In August 2020, Aizatullin's home was searched. He was accused of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 19 August 2021 he was sentenced to a fine of 200 thousand rubles. On 26 October, the court of appeal instance commuted the punishment to a year in a general regime colony. On 12 April 2022, the court of cassation instance cancelled the verdict and returned the case to the court of appeal instance, which a month later again sentenced Aizatullin to a year in a penal colony. Presumably, he was released in October 2022.
