In 2023, it became known that Pushkareva was a suspect in a criminal case initiated in connection with the activities of Vesna: she was charged with organising and participating in the activities of an extremist community, spreading "fakes" about the Armed Forces, calling for activities that threaten the security of the Russian Federation and spreading disrespectful information about the days of military glory.
