Sviridov. The day after the events on Manezhnaya Square on 11 December 2010, Interior Minister R. Nurgaliev stated that the riots were provoked by "left-wing radicals," which, according to police classification, included activists of the "Drugaia Rossia" party.
During the trial in October 2011, the prosecutor excluded the article on hooliganism from the charges against Unchuk as overly imputed.
While serving his sentence in the penal colony No. 4 in Nizhnekamsk, Unchuk was placed in a punishment cell for 2 months, allegedly after a conflict with the head of the colony. At that moment, Unchuk was preparing to apply for parole, which could be forgotten about after the punishment cell.
On 21 March 2014, Unchuk was released.
Earlier in 2009, Unchuk was sentenced to a year in prison with a probation period of two years under part 1 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for participation in the activities of the banned organisation "National Bolshevik Party" for the action of seizure of the Foreign Ministry reception room by the National Bolsheviks in 2008, when about 20 people handcuffed themselves in the offices of officials in protest against the lack of support for Russian citizens living in the Baltic States.
In July 2025, it became known that Unchuk had died in the war in Ukraine.
