Komil Matiev

Resident of Kazan. On 14 March 2017, he was detained after a search and then arrested on charges of involvement in a terrorist organization in connection with alleged involvement in the Islamist party "Hizb ut-Tahrir", which is not related to terrorism.

A charge of incitement to hatred was added on 25 December and a charge of calling for terrorist activity was added on 8 January 2018.

On 5 February 2020, he was sentenced to 15 years in a strict-regime penal colony.
