Popular TikTok blogger Kostya Kievsky, whose real name is Konstantin Lakeev, made headlines on the evening of January 26, 2021, when FSB officers entered the TikTok-house where young bloggers live and create content for the TikTok social network. During the incident, the enforcers ordered everyone in the house to lie face down on the floor, and several individuals were detained, including 18-year-old Konstantin Lakeev.

On January 27, the Investigative Committee released a video featuring Lakeev apologizing for his actions. In the video, he admitted to damaging a car by pelting it with snow and kicking it several times. He apologized to everyone affected by his actions and promised that such incidents would not occur again.

Later that same day, Lakeev was formally charged with property damage (under Article 167 Part 2 of the Criminal Code) and initially with hooliganism (under Article 213 Part 2 of the Criminal Code). Members of the Public Supervisory Commission reported that Lakeev had allegedly been subjected to physical abuse and denied food for two days following his detention. He was also forced to sleep on chairs.

On that very day, the Presnensky District Court of Moscow ordered Lakeev's detention for two months and transferred him to the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center. Initially, Lakeev was represented by Tatyana Okushko, a lawyer from OVD-Info, but he later chose to decline her legal services. During the court proceedings, the charge of hooliganism was dropped by the prosecutor's office.

Ultimately, on December 8, Lakeev received a sentence of two years and eight months in a general regime colony. He was subsequently released on February 10, 2023.
