Biography
In Naberezhnye Chelny on May 27, 2018, after searches, three followers of Jehovah’s Witnesses were detained, including Konstantin Matrashov. On May 29, the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court arrested Matrashov on charges of organizing the activities of an extremist organization. On November 9, Matrashov was transferred to house arrest. Later released on recognizance not to leave. On November 27, 2019, the court returned the case to the prosecutor’s office, noting that the court and the accused were provided with different texts of indictments, and also that the principle of qualifying the actions of the accused as consequences under Part 1 or Part

In April 2020, the investigation resumed.
On December 16, 2021, Matrashov was sentenced to two and a half years probation.
