Biography
Resident of Perm. He was a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Perm Krai in 2001-2011. On 29 October 2025, he was detained in a case of justification of terrorism. It is not known what statement became the reason for prosecution. The next day after the detention Okunev was taken into custody. In December 2025, an FSB officer said at the court to extend the preventive measure that another case had been opened against Okunev. Telegram channel RusNews reported that this case is for "extremism", details are unknown.
