Resident of St Petersburg. After being searched and detained in early March 2022 as part of a case of false reporting of a terrorist attack (part of a campaign against anti-war activists), Pokhilchuk was given an ultimatum: either he would leave or a case would be brought against him for statements made on the Internet.
