Konstantin Shiring

He lived in Kiev and was convicted several times in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He worked in agriculture and then ran his own business; in particular, he worked in Crimea.

On 15 April 2020, he was detained together with his wife, Russian military servicewoman Tatyana Kuzmenko. Shiring was charged with espionage, taken into custody and sent to Moscow. On 14 October 2021, a court in Crimea sentenced him to 12 years in a strict regime colony. On 7 February 2023, Shiring died in custody.
