On 28 December 2021, Fadeeva was searched. She was issued a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions within the framework of the case on the activities of an extremist community and a non-profit organisation infringing on the personality and rights of citizens. On 9 October 2023, the court hearing Fadeeva's case declared the trial closed. In October, Fadeyeva was placed under house arrest, the judge considered that she had violated one of the prohibitions imposed on her. In December it became known that the judge insisted that the sessions should be held from early morning to evening. The defendant is constantly under escort, she is not allowed to rest, eat, use hot water and prepare for the hearings. In the evening of 27 December, an ambulance had to be called to the courthouse because Fadeeva and her lawyer felt ill. The defence asked to postpone the hearing or take a break, but the judge refused. On 29 December 2023, Fadeyeva was sentenced to nine years in a general regime colony. On 1 August 2024, she was released as part of a prisoner exchange between the Russian Federation and other states.
