He had received an award from the city administration for participation in a music competition, studied at Armavir Law College.

Darsht was arrested in December 2022 for setting fire to the banner "We Do Not Abandon Our People". During a conversation with the investigator, he admitted that he had set fire to a transformer substation on the railway. A case of sabotage was filed against him in January 2023. Darsht is currently in custody.

On 30 March 2023, it was revealed that a case on preparing to bomb a police station was also filed against Darsht. The investigation believes that he intended to blow up the police station on the basis of his "nationalist views" and thus wanted to stop the influx of migrants to the region. Darsht has also been charged with attempted arson, vandalism and attempted illegal acquisition of explosives via Internet. According to the investigation, he set on fire "on the motive of national hatred" a shop and a house where migrants lived. No public evidence of Darsht's nationalist views could be found.

On 16 January 2025, the young man was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony.
