On 30 March 2023, it was revealed that a case on preparing to bomb a police station was also filed against Darsht. The investigation believes that he intended to blow up the police station on the basis of his "nationalist views" and thus wanted to stop the influx of migrants to the region. Darsht has also been charged with attempted arson, vandalism and attempted illegal acquisition of explosives via Internet. According to the investigation, he set on fire "on the motive of national hatred" a shop and a house where migrants lived. No public evidence of Darsht's nationalist views could be found.
On 16 January 2025, the young man was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony.
