Lyudmila Shchekoldina

On the 29th of April 2020, Shchekoldina's residence was subjected to a search. She faced charges related to her alleged involvement in the activities of an extremist organization, following a statement by an individual named Ilchenko. Jehovah's Witnesses suspected Ilchenko to be a secret service agent, and he claimed that Shchekoldina had attempted to engage him in the activities of an extremist organization. She was required to provide a signature of non-departure hold.

On the 23rd of May 2022, Shchekoldina was sentenced to four years and one month in a penal colony.
