A resident of Ingushetia, an imam. In April 2025, a case was opened against him and another imam, Muhammad Tamaskhanov, for failure to report a terrorist offence. According to the investigation, they had been in contact with Hussein Ganiev, an alleged accomplice of the "Amirkhan Gurazhev group" that attacked the DSS post in 2023, and although they knew of his involvement in terrorist activities, they failed to report it to law enforcement agencies. Tamaskhanov believes that the reason for the persecution was that he was the first person in Ingushetia to hold a public discussion of innovations in Islam and to open a mosque in Nazran, which became popular, although he was "told not to do so". The persecution may also be related to the fact that the imam criticised the leadership of Ingushetia and Chechnya, Fortanga notes.
