Maksim Golovanov

A resident of Moscow. In October 2024, he was taken into custody on charges of publicly justifying terrorism over posts about the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Freedom of Russia Legion, and with words of support for Daria Trepova, accused of murdering military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky. In the letter, Golovanov said that he was also accused of high treason, but the website of the court that considered the motion for detention does not reflect this. On 30 May 2025, Golovanov was sentenced to three years in a general regime penal colony in the case of public justification of terrorism.
