Maksim Popov

A resident of Nizhny Novgorod. He was charged with preparing to commit a terrorist attack: according to the investigation, together with a fellow countryman he had planned, for a reward, to set fire to a military recruitment centre on the instructions of representatives of the Ukrainian security services. On 13 June 2023, Popov was sentenced to four and a half years in a strict regime colony.
