Marat Dindarov

In March 2016, he was detained after a search and arrested the next day on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation. On 28 December 2017, he was sentenced to seven years in a general regime penal colony. The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation approved the sentence.

Dindarov was kept in isolation in the colony for over a year, searched daily, stripped naked and filmed on video.
