Biography
Opera singer, former Duma (Federal parliament) deputy. Widow of Duma deputy from the CPRF (The Communist Party of the Russian Federation) Denis Voronenkov. After the outbreak of the war, she left for Ukraine. In May 2023 she was included in the register of "foreign agents". In September 2024, it became known that a case was opened against her for calls for activities against the security of the Russian Federation because of a video in which she, according to the investigation, called for the financing of the AFU and "discredited the goals of the SVO (special war operation)".

In February 2025, it was reported that a new case was opened against Maksakova-Igenbergs - for evasion from fulfilling the duties of a "foreign agent".
Both cases were merged into one proceeding.
On 30 September 2025, the court sentenced her in absentia to four and a half years in a general regime colony.
