Mariana Oorzhak

She is a resident of Yurga (the Kemerovo region). A case was initiated against her for spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In May 2025, the case went to court. On 24 June 2025, Oorzhak was given a year of suspended sentence. The court declined to state the reason for prosecuting the woman, saying: “The sentence relates to the Armed Forces and directly to the participants of the ‘special military operation’. Such sentences are not published or publicised. Not in any form at all.”
