Marina Voronova
Biography
Voronova is a resident of St. Petersburg. A case was initiated against her on charges of incitement to extremism after, according to the investigation, she called for "actions of a violent nature", "changing the foundations of the constitutional order and violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation", as well as proclaiming a "sovereign Ural state". On 3 December 2024, Voronova was sentenced to a year and two months' imprisonment in a penal colony. A case was also brought against Voronova and her friend Vera Ignatenko for preparation for the murder of Voronova's ex-husband. We do not consider this charge to
