Biography
Resident of Belogorsk (Crimea). Not officially employed, married, has two minor children. On 9 February 2022, detained and on the same day taken into custody on the case of organisation of activities of a terrorist organisation and preparation for violent seizure of power in connection with the alleged involvement in the Islamist party "Hizb ut-Tahrir", which has nothing to do with terrorism. On 30 November 2022, sentenced to 17 years in a strict regime colony.
In June 2023, it became known that before the appeal Mustafayev was given only 15 days to familiarise himself with 7,300 pages of the case.
