Maxim Erofeev

According to the investigation, during his stay at the 11th pre-trial detention centre and using his criminal authority status, Erofeev promoted the ideas of the AUE movement and monitored the observance of the relevant way of life in places of detention. The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case against him under Article 282.2 ("Organising the activities of an extremist organisation") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. On 01.04.2022 the case was transferred to the Noginsk City Court, and a guilty verdict was delivered on 07.10.2022.
